Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Business Continuity Planner to develop, maintain, and implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients’ operations remain resilient in the face of disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical functions and vulnerabilities.
- Develop, test, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Plan and conduct mock-disaster exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of existing strategies.
- Update procedures and documentation based on test results and evolving risks.
- Serve as a coordinator for continuity efforts during and after disruption events.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align continuity plans with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management.
- Knowledge of:
- Industry standards (ISO 22301, NIST, etc.).
- Risk assessment methodologies and business impact analysis.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during crises.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or DRP (Disaster Recovery Professional).
- Experience in data-driven industries (healthcare, life sciences, etc.).
